Artist's Comments
I drew pretty much the same idea about 2 years ago, but I got kicked out of the apartment I was living in for a new guy; and the bitch threw away 2 years of art while I was out of the house. Good times.
Anyway, I've always gotten comments like "Man, I'd like to see the inside of your brain" or things to that effect, because I have a kick-ass imagination and you don't; so I went ahead and drew it for you. I would be seriously surprised if any of you could recognize and name a dozen of the things in here. And yes, I have to shamefully admit that the entire bookshelf is ideas that never got finished. I could literally sit here and tell you about any of them in varying degrees of detail. But some of them are very old. I mean, I drew 3 issues of Bot when I was 8 years old. Dunkin Donuts is an okay job, by the way; but I hate the way its quickly becoming the context of my day, as opposed to just the content. Better time management needed, I guess. Happy Murkin'! |
